Figuring out a process between #maya #houdini and #nuke using USD
Hello!! I hope all is well. I have been testing out my process again trying to figure one two things:
1. the best way for me to work with all three softwares well with limited issues
2. how to project well in NukeX So far, I have managed to get @FoundryTeam ‘s new beta geo loaders working, however I have come across a couple of small issues.
These may be down to my GPU not being good enough or just not knowing how to use it properly yet. I have a full version of this video I will upload once cleaned up a little, this is just a condensed version 🙂 Another issue I had was the point cloud I could see in the 3d viewport but further down the tree after the scanline renderer it failed to look the same and also flickered loads in the render, I need to find out what I am doing wrong! The earth textures are from NASA with some tweaks done my end – still a little to do. The music is made using @Cubase and the point cloud generation is made in @houdini3d .
